Intended for use as a means of recognition for downed airmen, this compact, lightweight Panel Marker is normally carried in the thigh knife pocket of the flight suit.  This high visibility orange panel stows easily and deploys quickly to signal rescuers.  This is a minimalist marker--simply a square piece of high vis material without hemmed edges or the other features of the more expensive VS-17.
